Woocommerce advAnced product labels

Hi,

Surrent plugin version is shown on the plugin page right side https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/advanced-product-labels-for-woocommerce/

Other plugins are ok with autoupdates? How did you install the plugin? Through the wp-admin or FTP?

my developer installed it , not sure how.

all other plugins have auto update excel this one, just not sure if I fall behind with the update because it’s not setup to auto update.

can you advise if the version I have is safe and up to date. And why I can’t set auto update?

Hi,

“can you advise if the version I have is safe and up to date” – from what I can see you have recent version. If it was downloaded from the www.ads-software.com site it is safe.

“why I can’t set auto update?” – probably because you developer upload the folder with the plugin via FTP and now “wordpress” don’t thave permissions to overwrite that folder with the update. You can remove the plugin via FTP and install it via wp-admin. Other option is to set correct folder permissions if you know how to do this.

So if I have elementor pro as well not having auto update setup, “ftp installation “ also should be the reason?

Hi,

It could be that some plugins can prevent from auto-update because they are critical and update can potentially break the site. But I’m not sure. Our plugin don’t have this. I tested locally and all our plugin have auto-update possibility.
