    Hello,

Since the past few months, woocommerce has stopped logging order details for specifically “COD” orders. Only prepaid orders are logged under default analytics – this change happened out of the blue as earlier both prepaid and cod orders were being logged correctly. Any idea how to solve for this?

  • Hi there @devalaye,

    Thanks for reaching out!

To understand you better, if you go to Analytics > Settings, what order statuses are set to be excluded? Please share with us a screenshot.

You can use a screenshot sharing service like https://snipboard.io/ and paste the link here.

    Cheers!

Please note, both COD and Prepaid orders are marked “Processing” once the order is confirmed. And order status “Processing” is NOT excluded

    Hello

Thanks for your reply and for providing screenshots.

To help you further, I’d like to understand more about your setup.
Could you please send me a copy of your site’s System Status?
You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
Select Get system report and then Copy for support.

Once you’ve done that, you can paste the text in https://gist.github.com
After that, you can paste the Gist link here in your reply.

This information will allow me to check for any possible code conflicts.
Looking forward to your response. ??

    Hello devalaye

Thank you for your reply and providing System Status Report.

I have reviewed your website’s SSR and identified two plugins that could potentially be causing interference with WooCommerce’s default behavior. These plugins are:

    1. WooCommerce Smart COD: developed by woosmartcod.com
    2. Custom Order Numbers for WooCommerce: developed by Tyche Softwares

To determine if there is any conflict arising from other plugins, I recommend deactivating all the plugins and attempting to place a COD order.

This will help us identify the cause of the unusual behavior.
Please let me know about the results. ??

    Have a great day!

    Hey Zubair,

    Thanks for the insight.

    1. We disabled existing woocommerce smart COD and installed a new cod plugin – link https://snipboard.io/5Z1rwT.jpg. Placed a COD order post this but the order is still not showing up under Analytics – Orders
    2. Custom Orders for Woocommerce – disabled this plugin, placed a cod order, still not showing up under Analytics.

Added the latest system report with this for reference: https://gist.github.com/Devalaye/c8c468da6955a26f23e4e0e6321550a0 – Please check the COMMENT and not the original system report.

    Hello devalaye

    Thank you for your reply.

I understand you’re facing an issue where Cash on Delivery (COD) orders are not showing up under Analytics – Orders even after disabling the existing WooCommerce Smart COD plugin, installing a new COD plugin, and also disabling the Custom Orders for WooCommerce plugin.

From what you’ve described, I still suspect that there could be interference from external code, as Analytics is a core feature of WooCommerce and should typically capture all orders irrespective of the payment method.

To address this issue, here are the steps you can follow:

    1. Please try clearing WooCommerce’s Analytics cache by going to WooCommerce > Status > Tools and using the ‘Clear Analytics Cache’ tool.

    2. If clearing the cache does not resolve the problem, my next recommendation would be to disable all plugins except for WooCommerce itself.

    3. After that, place a COD order and check if this order now appears in the Analytics.

By following these steps, we can help pinpoint whether the issue is being caused by a plugin or other external factors. This process of elimination will help us determine the best course of action to resolve the problem.

Please let me know the outcome of these troubleshooting steps, and if necessary, we can explore further options together. ??

    Have a great day!

Hi there, I would like to inform you that I am facing the exact same issue: COD orders with ‘processing’ status are excluded by WooCommerce Analytics. None of the above suggestions is able to fix this issue.

Same – we even disabled all plugins and checked, the issue still persists ??

Been a year since we are facing this issue.

Additionally, flagging “Pending” order in the Analytics settings does not change the situation.

@doublezed2 please fix this issue because otherwise analytics are worthless

Could you please create separate topics and describe your problem there?
This thread is now 4 months old, so if you are facing a similar problem I will be happy to assist with that on a new topic.

    Appreciate your cooperation. ??
