Hello, i’m using a Woocommerce store on WP with Square as a payment provider. My question is can i use this setup to receive funds rather than just to sell products?
Eg: If some needs to pay me $100 can i set up my store so they can go to a page (or the existing checkout page) and enter in the amount and click ‘pay now’ or something, rather than actually having to purchase something through my store?

    Hope this makes sense.

    Thanks for any advice.

    Wayne

    Hi @wally2,

It doesn’t exactly work that way. It’s an eCommerce site so the basic premise is that you’ve got something to sell.

However, you can use the Name Your Price extension to create a product that allows the user enter whatever amount they want to pay.

You could call that product “Pay Me” or something that makes sense for you and even have it live on a dedicated page by using one of the built-in shortcodes.

That should take care of our use case.
