    Hi,

Our flat shipping rate is set to 63kr within Norway. It has just been flagged to me that when when you try to check out with an item on our website at the moment, a flat shipping rate of 727kr is applied at checkout. This applies to all our products, and it occurs across multiple browsers and devices. I’ve checked the back end of WooCommerce and everything appears to be set up as it should. I’m totally stumped.

Help is very much appreciated as this is generating multiple complaints, not to mention lost revenue.

    Thanks

    Steph

  • Hey there, @lofotenseaweed! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.

Can you please share some screenshots to help us investigate this further? I recommend using https://snipboard.io. You can share the direct link to the image as a response to this topic.

    We need screenshots of:

    • WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping
    • WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Click on Edit on a Shipping Zone
    • WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Click on Edit on a Shipping Zone > Click on edit on each shipping method so we can check the specific settings
    • The cart/checkout page with the issue

Do you have any plugin or custom code that can affect the shipping?

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Have a wonderful day!

    Hi,

We don’t use any shipping plugins, it’s all done through WooCommerce. We have some custom CSS, but there haven’t been any changes to this since March.

    Thanks

    Hi Steph, @lofotenseaweed

The first three image links are broken, can you double-check and send them again, please? I get this message for all three of them: “Nothing was found at this location! You may have the wrong URL or the image may have been deleted.”

    Thanks!

    Hey, @lofotenseaweed!

    Thanks for the screenshots!

I see here that you seem to have another plugin that affects the shipping, correct?

Can you please confirm for us which one is it?

And have you reached out to them to check this?

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Hi Steph, @lofotenseaweed,

Ah yes, that one is called Proteria CloudConnect.

If you temporarily disable it to check, does the flat-rate shipping work ok? Have you had a chance to reach out to this plugin’s support team already? From what I’ve seen, you can reach them here: https://krokedil.com/support/?plugin=228529.

    I hope this helps!

Hi guys this has now been resolved!

In Norway we mark decimal points with a , instead of a . So our shipping rate was written as 62,3. This hasn’t been a problem up until now, but a couple of days ago there was a WordPress update that we think caused the comma to be ignored, which made the flat rate to go up to 623kr (727kr with VAT).

    Thanks for your support!

    Steph
