woocommerce attributes & variations

From what I’ve read increasing the number of variations of attributes is possible. I am using WPSTORE theme. I need to edit the number of variations from 55 to 96. I’ve found a couple websites what talk about it, but I haven’t really got a clue where to put it what it’s placed between as far as the coding. I get kind of nervous when messing with the coding. Any help would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!
