Yes, the product configuration is set up according to that documentation. It was set to Force Downloads upon launch and I switched it to X-Accel-Redirect/X-Sendfile to see if that would help and it didn’t (I worked with my hosting provider to update the NGINX Server).

The file sizes are rather large which is why I hoped changing the download method would help. One file is 24MB and the other is 28MB. I think one from another product is over 30MB. On occasion, the download fails which I know is likely caused by bandwidth issues and the file size, but the file downloading, playing, but the file is cut off? Very odd.

Thanks for sharing additional information and the system report.

I would suggest you perform a full conflict test. To perform tests without affecting your live site, you can use a staging site (your host might have that feature, but you can create it with WP Staging as an alternative).

Then, set your staging site’s theme to Storefront, disable all plugins except for WooCommerce, and perform some tests to confirm if the issue with the incomplete downloads persists there.

As per my original comment, I am not able to replicate the issue on desktop myself on the live environment. Rather, some customers are experiencing the issue and reporting it. So, I am not sure how trying to test on a staging environment will help me identify the issue if I cannot replicate the issue…

If you can replicate the issue on mobile, can you place a test order and download a file on your phone while the site has only WooCommerce and the Storefront theme enabled?

You could also upload a smaller size file for testing purposes. If it turns out that the file size is the issue, your website’s server may have a maximum limit – in which case, reach out to your hosting company to have that limit increased.

Okay sure, I will try that. But if it was a file size limit, wouldn’t it happen all of the time and not just on occasion?
