woocommerce autosuggest products

Hello,

Amaz* and eB* both autosuggest keywords rather than products.

If you autosuggest products, you have to embed search results/facets/pagination in the Ajax autosuggest popup. Or, else you are in troubles with long lists of suggestions that you cannot filter.

For instance:
– If you type ‘sho’, keywords suggestions show ‘shoe’ in first position. You can then click on ‘shoe’, and trigger the search. Then you can filter on categories, brands, sizes, prices …
– If you type ‘sho’, product suggestions shows- … a list of shoe products, like 10 of them. Perhaps also shoe laces, or shoe shines. The user cannot filter the list, and will probably leave your website.

What are your thoughts about that ?
