    Hi @joni54321

Please try creating a new field in the block and use this as field ID:

    _billing_eu_vat_number

Let us know if you still face a problem after this.

    Hello @joni54321

It seems that Woo Blocks is still in early stage, I’ve checked their documentation and found this:

These new blocks are fully functional, but are not a complete, drop-in replacement for the existing cart and checkout shortcodes: Most extensions developed by WooCommerce fully support the block-based cart/checkout at this time. However, it is likely that a plugin/extension running on your store may not work as expected.

Not sure if it will work with it, your best shot is to send them directly and ask if you can add a field manually using field_id created by a plugin.

I have this same issue in another plugin EU Vat compliance using Woo Cart and Checkout block, since they are a huge step in userinterface.

I am now browsing for another VAT calculator… This one fx. However, if issue remains the same for these blocks, it’s an issue. I can’t see myself risk 25% of my business.

@omardabbas What I hear is that Blocks is the problem here, and plugin should not adopt to the software outthere? Point is, how can woo even consider releasing non VAT EU compliant blocks? It’s a lot of money at risk here and everyone is obliged to sell to the price actually presented. No exit!

    Thx

    Hi @hebhansen

Sorry to hear the trouble, I went again over more documentation for Woo Blocks, and if you can take a look at their reviews section here on WP plugin page, you will see that tons of people are complaining about compatibility.

I suggest you contact them directly and inquire about this, if there is anything I can do from my side to make the plugins compatible, will be happy to do so.

    Omar
