Woocommerce Blocks Compatibility

Support for the new WooCommerce Blocks is coming, but as of now, PayPal Payments does not yet work with the block cart/checkout (as you confirmed).
I’m not sure when exactly it is ready to be released, but we are working on it and I can try to let you know when I have more concrete information.

great to hear! The block cart/checkout looks much better than the standard but I think it does not make sense for many stores to use it as long as PayPal Plus is not compatible. So you could really make a big difference ??

sorry to have to correct myself here, but I understood that the question you raised was for another plugin we support: “WooCommerce PayPal Payments”. The situation is that this other plugin is being pushed forward by PayPal to be developed as the main plugin for payment solutions and other plugins, like PayPal Plus, will not receive any more major feature updates.

My recommendation would then be as well to keep an eye on WooCommerce PayPal Payment to be aware of when Blocks will be added to the functionality of our plugin.

thank you. I have just checked the other Plugin but it does not seem to be a good alternative – according to the reviews …

Will PayPal Plus be added to this plugin as well?

I am not sure what you mean by “Will PayPal Plus be added to this plugin”, but we are constantly working on improving PayPal Payments in order for this to be the one option to replace all other PayPal plugins. I cannot say that we will implement all PayPal Plus options into it, this depends on all the requirements from the business environment, the issues we encounter, and the requirements from PayPal themselves.

We are striving to match everybody’s requirements, but there is a limit to what we can do and what we can add to the plugin.

Hopefully, this answers your question. If you have any specific functionalities you are missing in PayPal Payments, we would love to hear about them.
