WooCommerce brand association

Hi there guys, maybe I need to post this on woocommerce site and I will but just if someone around had the same question, how can I create “brands” and associate them into any product?, actually, I want to create those brands and associate them to certain products, but other products won’t have any brand until checkout where customers will have to select one. Any idea if this is possible? Maybe on custom code or buying a woo extension?
