• Upon upgrading from my Headway Theme to the Divi Theme, I have lost many features I had previously in WooCommerce. None of my Layered Nav filters work anymore in the sidebar widget for my shop, the Add to Cart buttons are missing in the shop, and the My Account page does not work anymore for users to login, register, and view their account details. Ideally, I would also like to create a menu item that can alternate between login and logout as well as a my account menu item that only shows when a user is logged in, but I can’t seem to figure out how to do this. I’ve tried re-installing the WooCommerce My Account page and tried messing with a bunch of settings via wordpress but it fails to work on my staging site. If someone could please assist me, I would greatly appreciate it. I don’t know very much coding so I really can use all the help possible.

Is anyone available to assist? I would really appreciate the help.

Consider deactivating all plugins except WooCommerce. You should then be able to tell if the problems are coming from Divi theme. If so, then because its a commercial theme you need to be approaching the theme vendor’s support service.

Seems to be a problem with staging sites. The account links, etc work now after pushing to the live/production site. I read an article that WooCommerce layered Nav only works on product archive pages. Any idea what product archive pages are and how I access them? If this is the case, did my shop page somehow act as a product archive page in my previous theme but no longer does in my current theme? In addition, I would like to still have the functionality of dynamic login/logout and my account buttons on my menu that change based on whether or not the user is logged in. Any idea how I achieve this functionality? I’ve been trying for a very long time and can’t seem to figure it out. I appreciate any and all assistance you can provide.

    1. The two types of product archive pages are the shop page and any category pages. You’d have to go to Appearance > Widgets and put the Layered Nav widget in the sidebar widget area. I don’t have access to Divi theme, but I expect it has a setting to show or not show the sidebar on WooCommerce pages.

    2. Can’t tell, can’t see either. Its not theme related. The shop page is set at:
Dashboard > WooCommerce > Settings > Products tab, Display sub-page.
You can set the shop page to be the homepage or some other page just as you wish.

    3. See:
    https://www.themelocation.com/how-to-add-loginlogout-links-to-menu-in-woocommerce/
Google it, there’s a bunch of pages about this. It is likely to be difficult for www.ads-software.com forum members to be specific because Divi is a commercial theme and members don’t have access to it.

You’ll need to make a child theme:
    https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Child_Themes
and put code snippets in functions.php in the child theme.

If posting again, please include your site url.
