Hi! I’ve installed the plugin and connected with 1. Business Center, 2. TikTok Ad Account, and 3. TikTok Pixel.

Even if the connection appears successful on the WordPress admin, the TikTok Catalog is empty.

How do we auto-sync our Woo Catalog with TikTok?

    Thanks!

  • Same for the catalog. There is only one product in the catalog…

    Hello –

Can you update us on when the non-synch bug patch will be available? Dead in the water here.

    Thanks @tiktokforbusiness

@brentreyno @allancaeg @jhonb – the team just released version 1.0.4 of the plugin with fixes for the catalog sync issues. Please update / install your plugin and retry your catalog sync.

    @tiktokforbusiness thanks done!

What about the pixel that does not show any events?

    Cheers

@jhonb re: the event not showing up, can you please update the your plugin and see if any events being recorded? If not, please pull the logs (tiktok_for_woocommerce) so that our team can review.

Regarding the test you just ran, we would need a quick screen recording so that we can send to the team for review.

Hello! Seems like the upgrade did the fix, albeit it introduced new issues…

Right after upgrading the plugin, there were conflicts in the settings. So, I deleted the app then re-installed. This did the trick, allowing me to access the plugin again.

I had to setup from scratch.

Unfortunately, while connecting with my TikTok business account and assets, I needed to create a new Pixel and new Catalog. I can’t access the existing ones as the TikTok Business Manager says that those are already connected to another website.

So, I went ahead and created a new Pixel and Catalog. Voila, fortunately, the Catalog products are now synced!

Relatively minor issue, but it would cause confusion in the future as I now have two Pixels and two Catalogs. Worse, I can’t delete them. I just get a blank error message with an ? icon.

Fortunately, I was able to delete the old Catalog, so we’ll just focus on the newly created one.

    To summarize the bugs:

    1. New plugin update destroyed existing plugin configuration files. Need to delete plugin and setup from scratch. It’s a minor inconvenience as I don’t mind re-installing.
    2. **Can’t connect to existing Pixel and Catalog.** So, will have to create new ones and cannot access past performance data.
    3. **Can’t delete old, existing Pixel**. This is a significant issue as we might get confused and launch new Ad Campaigns connected to this dormant pixel.

Please help with deleting the old pixel. And take note that other users are facing the issues above.

    Thanks @tiktokforbusiness !

@allancaeg Can you please elaborate on what you mean by “conflicts in the settings?” There shouldn’t be a need to delete the app entirely, just simply updating the version.

@tiktokforbusiness unfortunately can’t recreate anymore as I’ve already wiped and re-installed.

But to expound, WordPress was unable to load up the page due to missing configuration files or something, so it deactivated the plugin.

After I tried to override by re-activating the plugin, the TikTok plugin page inside WP just kept crashing.

At this point, just hoping I can still 1) connect to the old Pixel or 2) delete it in order to avoid confusion moving forward as we run more campaigns.

@tiktokforbusiness still not working for the events.

How do you want me to pull the logs?

    Cheers

@allancaeg if you go into your ads manager dashboard and under the assets tab at the top of the page and select events you can delete the old pixel. Same with the catalog (assets–>catalog).

I have exactly the same issues:

    1. catalog was not synced
    2. update to 1.0.4 did not work because missing files (automatically disabled the plugin)
    3. fresh upload of the plugin worked
    4. configuration only works with chrome, not with firefox (redirect after last step does not work)
    5. cannot connect existing pixel & catalog
    6. cant delete old pixel under assets -> events, it shows only an empty error box (not plugin related)

additionally there is now another issue:

    7. private / unpublished products are synced and marked as active in the tiktok catalog

    many thanks for your help

    Thanks for the feedback @allancaeg

    I have the same issues:
    With the previous version:
    Only 6 products synced
    Refresh button didn’t work
    No test events shown.

Updating to 1.0.4 broke the plugin
Deleting and re-installing did not help.
Clicking on the tiktok link now gives this error:
Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 834666496) (tried to allocate 90112 bytes) in /……../wp-includes/functions.php on line 4757

I don’t have the time to pull logs.
Not trying to be rude, but you are working for a billion dollar company that is trying to sell us their services, I don’t think the users should be responsible for figuring out the errors so they can give you their money.
Running a business is enough work as it is.

    Thanks.

    Still not working ??
