    Hello egrimb,
How did you create the menu you are trying to gain access to?

    Appearance>Menus

I’m new to wordpress and am not sure if this is specific to my theme. Basically the menu has a combination of woocommerce categories as well as individual pages.

Essentially I want to have my ‘main menu’ down the side instead of at the top.

    Ok egrimb,
If you go to Appearance>Widgets you will see on titled “Custom Menu”.
If you drag it into your widget area and select the menu you created, it should show up.

If you do not have a widget where you would like your menu you may add one to your theme.

    Hope this helps

Thank I already tried that. I was hoping to be able to only show the parent pages in the menu until you clicked on them. Guess this isn’t possible?
