Using the Firefox browser I noticed my WooCommerce product category pages, like this one, https://www.1800doorbell.com/entrance-alerts/, are showing two thumbs per products. The second image is the one that normally is displayed when you mouse over the featured image.

I am not 100% sure that Autoptimize is causing this because I have so many moving parts — Autoptimize, RapidCSS, and AsyncJavacript. What I do know is that when I delete the Autoptimize cache the issue goes always, but over time, I am assume as the cache is rebuilt, it shows back up.

Any help or ideas on how to better troubleshoot this would be greatly appreciate.

BTW, you have an incredible plugin!

    Thank you – JW

that, I’m afraid, is _very_ hard to pinpoint between those moving part JW. deleting the AO cache triggers other things; for instance all rapidload rules are deleted and you page cache (wp rocket) is cleared as well.

to be able to pinpoint this I should either see this happening (on a staging site) or you should start with both Critical CSS and Rapidload disabled to see if this happens again. If not, add CCSS and again wait to see if the image double up again. If not lastly add Rapidload to see if that triggers it?

    hope this helps,
    frank

any news about this lheinc, have you been able to identify the culprit?

With the help of support at radidload.io, it was fixed. They added a “deep” rule (safelist) for the class, “product_list_widget” and that seemed to correct the issue.

Here’s a link where they explain their safelist rules: https://rapidload.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360063292673-Sitewide-Safelists-Blocklists
