    Hi everyone. After cloning my site, I’m getting an error message stating WooCommerce as the problem:

    Fatal error: Uncaught WC_Data_Exception: Invalid billing email address in /home/customer/www/tipsyhues.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/abstracts/abstract-wc-data.php:943 Stack trace: #0 /home/customer/www/tipsyhues.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/class-wc-customer.php(1045): WC_Data->error(‘customer_invali…’, ‘Invalid billing…’) #1 /home/customer/www/tipsyhues.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/data-stores/class-wc-customer-data-store-session.php(150): WC_Customer->set_billing_email(‘hello@tipsyhues…’) #2 /home/customer/www/tipsyhues.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/class-wc-data-store.php(159): WC_Customer_Data_Store_Session->read(Object(WC_Customer)) #3 /home/customer/www/tipsyhues.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/class-wc-customer.php(125): WC_Data_Store->read(Object(WC_Customer)) #4 /home/customer/www/tipsyhues.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/class-woocommerce.php(986): WC_Cu in?/home/customer/www/tipsyhues.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/abstracts/abstract-wc-data.php?on line?943

    I don’t get this message anywhere on my main site, and it’s new so I’m not sure if payments are affected. I’ve searched the forums and the web for solutions and looked through myphpadmin but can’t find the problem.

  • Hey there, @tipsyhues! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.

    Is there any differences between the main site and the cloned one?

    The error you shared is regarding the billing email. Are you getting this error when you try to run an order on the cloned site?

    Furthermore, I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share with us the System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.

    Looking forward to your reply.
    Have a wonderful day!

    Hi @carolm29

    I figured it out. I had to go into myphpadmin and delete the WooCommerce tables from the cloned site’s files. As soon as I did that, the website showed up just fine. So far it doesn’t seem to have any negative impact on the WooCommerce installation; it’s going through the new user setup as normal. Haven’t fully tested it yet, but I’ll be doing that next and if I run into any problems I’ll report back. Til then, I’ll mark this thread resolved.
