Woocommerce – Change Currency based on Shipping Location

    Hi
    I need to have WC change the billed currency based on shipping location – eg: Currency 1 for AU and NZ and USD for all others.

    The pricing is at parity – so no conversion just when billing via PayPal etc.

    eg: Cust in AU buys (AU$) cart for $150 – will be billed as $150 AUD
    Cust in US buys same cart will be billed as $150 USD

    So basically I need the whole cart total billed as either AUD or USD based on the shipping country. No conversions etc, just so the online billing PayPal etc bills the correct currency.

    Any ideas, on how to do it?

  • This plugin might be worth a look: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/woocommerce-product-price-based-on-countries/

    You may need to enter them separately but if you only sell to a handful of countries it might work for your needs.

    Hi Thanks for that I will have a look.

    A lot of them do more than I need.

    Basically all I need is something at the final checkout stage (just prior to billing) to do:

    If Shipping Country = NZ or AU then CURRENCY = AUD, else CURRENCY = USD.

    Then it will go to PayPal or the Banks Gateway and charge in AUD or USD.

    No conversion or rates just AUD (in AU and NZ) and USD (everywhere else).

    Would this be possible as some php code etc somewhere?

    I found the solution and plugin suggested by doubleedesign worked for me.

    It’s an easy to setup plugin if, as they say you only have a few to set up – I only had 2!
