woocommerce changed my whole webpage

    Hi, just installed woocommerce, and it took over my website.

    Now the design for the home page is all different. I went to settings => reading and changed homepage to a static page and choose my home page – but the design is still off with shop menu etc. i want the shop and everythinh about the shop to be separate from the home page and the pages that i have. i know it can be done, but how??

    Hi @nellik22,

    What you’ve done is exactly right—create and design a static page, then set it as your homepage in the settings. The shop page and other WooCommerce-related pages function separately from the homepage, so you can simply add them to your menus.

    However, if you want complete separation between your main site and the store, you can use a subdomain like store.yourdomain.com or a directory like yourdomain.com/store. This would require setting up two separate sites—one for your main site and another for the store.
