woocommerce – checkout endpoints does not work

I’m a beginner …
I’m developing a site in wordpress and in particular, I use the woocommerce plugin.
I find this problem:If I set the checkout endpoints (order-received) with a new personal page (I had customize the page and I added the shortcode [woocommerce_checkout]) the “system woocommerce” does not work and continues to display the default page of woocommerce.
Where am I wrong?
Can you tell me a tutorial, guide where to resolve this problem? Where can I find more information?
My intention was only to add text before the order summary to thank the customer after the purchase.Thanks you so much

You can’t do customization this way, but have 2 options to do this
1- Snippet:
