woocommerce checkout issues

hi there,
I am having a few issues with my checkout.

First, I feel it’s a bit clunky, and I know ive had really easy experiences with other purchases elsewhere. How to mimic?

Specifically, I need to make shipping a required field, not optional. Id like shipping to be the first form and billing an auto copy of shipping (just the name, city, zip, state though), editable by the user.

This would help a lot, but any other tips are welcome. EASY, SIMPLE, Mobile friendly.
