woocommerce checkout state field does not pop up on mobile devices

    Hi
    In the woocommerce checkout form, the state field does not pop up on mobile devices and acts as a dropdown.

    In mobile devices, it is hard to select from a dropdown. Especially when the list of options is long (like states). it would be better to perform as a pop-up.

    Is there any solution for this issue?

    I would like to let you know that the dropdown/ pop-up of your site is part of your theme’s functionality. You can confirm that by temporarily switching to Storefront Theme to see if that resolves the issue.

    If it does resolve the issue, please reach out to your theme’s developers for a solution.

    I changed the theme to the storefront and the issue did not resolve. I also detected the issue in some other websites with different themes, too.

    I also checked the theme’s codes and did not find any things that could change the woocommerce checkout form behavior. I think it’s part of the woocommerce core’s functionality.

    Yes, the dropdown is part of the WooCommerce core functionality.

    Upon checking, I couldn’t find any code snippet or plugin to change the behavior of the State/County field to be a Pop-Up rather than a dropdown.

    However, I’m going to leave it open for a bit to see if anyone is able to chime in to help you out.

    I can also recommend the WooCommerce Developer Resources Portal for resources on developing for WooCommerce.
