Woocommerce CSV upload – images not being uploaded

    (I’ve already posted this question – but can’t find anywhere!)

    I upload a CSV into Woocommerce to create products.
    Works great.

    PROBLEM: images are not uploaded.

    The specs say that images are uploaded.
    This is mentioned quite clearly.

    I have read other threads on the problem.
    Some replies have said: maybe the end website blocked downloading the image.
    So, I tried uploading the image to the same domain – still not working – even if I upload as media.

    A few others have said this is a big bug in Woocommerce?

    Sounds a silly bug.

    There are other paid alternatives that work (as far as I know).
    Woocommerce have one themselves.
    I don’t mind paying – but the free version does everything I need – so doesn’t make sense to get the paid one!

    Am I missing something?

    Hey there,

    The core product importer should work correctly and images shouldn’t be a problem.

    Can you please shorten the CSV file down to a few lines and then share that file? You could save it to your site’s Media Library then share the URL here. We can give it a try on our end.

    What I did was upload all the images to media. Then in csv I added the full path url of each image. Maybe wrong/long way but images did map.

    That will work, too, though images should be uploaded as long as the URL is correct. It’s one of those “multiple roads to Rome” kind of things. Either way, I’m glad to hear you sorted it out!
