  • Hi @adityajejurkar,

By default the default currency symbol under WooCommerce > Settings > General should be in the emails. If they are not, check to see if your theme is overriding the emails with a custom template.

If you need to add a custom currency, you can do so via code found at this link.

    Hi @nixiack8,
The currency symbol is properly displayed in website but when it comes to order details which is on the checkout page it is not visible properly and as far as I’m concern these order details gets fetch in woocommerce email template and the invoice. So any solution about this.

    Hi there,

If the currency symbol is not showing in the order emails sent out, it’s likely that your theme has template overrides for these emails. You can find your theme template overrides listed in your System Status report at WooCommerce > Status.

The simple way to test if your current theme is causing this is to temporarily activate a default theme like Storefront and run a test purchase and see if the currency symbol is in the emails as expected. If so, you’ll need to contact the theme developer or modify the theme’s code.

    Hi Linda,
I did the same thing which you’ve mentioned aboved. Activated the 2019 theme and then tested the orders still it doesn’t work.

    Thanks,
    Aditya

    Hi Aditya,

Thanks for testing that out with a default theme. The next step would be to do further troubleshooting as it really sounds like some kind of conflict.

To further troubleshoot, you’ll need to deactivate plugins and your current theme and test. If you’re not (understandably) comfortable doing this on your live site, please set up a staging site.

To troubleshoot, please follow these steps:

    * Deactivate your theme and temporarily activate a default theme like Storefront or Twenty Nineteen and test to see if this resolves the issue. I know you’ve done this, but one more try won’t hurt, right?
    * If that doesn’t resolve the issue, please deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce and test again.

Assuming this gets things working correctly, please re-activate your plugins one at a time, testing between each one, until you find the plugin causing the conflict. You’ll then need to contact the plugin or theme developer for assistance.

Let us know how you make out with this!
