Woocommerce customers data | don’t work export.

This is a very serious problem because there isn’t control over my customers data.

Under Woocommerce –> customers by clicking download (visura.uno – my customers’ data), after click, always appears a popup with the words that the data will be sent in email.

These famous emails will never arrive…

How do I take control of my data and download when I want my customers data?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @ffdigit,

Thanks for reaching out on the WooCommerce forums!

You’ll want to check if the emails are being correctly generated and sent. You can do this by installing a plugin like WP Mail Logging.

Once the plugin is installed and activated, request a customer report and go to WP dashboard > Tools > WP Mail Log. You can see under Email Log if the download email was sent.

If emails are being generated, then there is a good possibility that the server is blocking them from being sent. In that case, you would need to contact your email service provider.

    Thanks.

Unfortunately, there isn’t problem with sending mail. About 100 emails a day are sent via google SSO as order confirmations and notes. Any submission goes through google workspace via authentication and google logs are ok.

Furthermore, this export function does not generate instant local mails. Maybe it generates a request via woocommerce server?

    Hi @ffdigit,

I’ve been testing this with my default installation of WordPress, WooCommerce and the free Storefront theme. When doing so, the download report from WooCommerce > Customers was sent to the admin email and you can see the screenshots here.

You can test if emails are being generated using the WP Mail Logging plugin. If you can see that they’re sent then WooCommerce is properly working and you would need to contact your email service provider for further assistance if you’re still unable to get emails.

For reference, kindly check our email troubleshooting guide – https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/email-faq/.

    Thanks.

When wordpress is configured to send mail with ssl and google workspace, the export service fails.

    it’s a product problem.

    @ffdigit

Did you perform the testing steps recommended by @rainfallnixfig ?

Of course the problem is that there is incompatibility when you use a foreign smtp connector and do not use the standard php functions.

    Hi there,

Thanks for getting back and I’m sorry to hear about compatibility issues.

Please note that third-party plugins/tools are not developed or supported by us, and we do not maintain compatibility between WooCommerce and these tools. We will not be able to look into these compatibility issues, however, you may want to report this behavior to their support team.

Kindly note that this support forum is for questions and issues around the core WooCommerce plugin itself, and compatibility issues with third-party plugins are outside of the scope of support we are able to provide.

    Thanks.

Yes, I understand what has been written. The problem manifests itself with any plugin that uses an external smtp service. Woocommmerce uses only the php resources of the local server and does not recognize external services such as google workspace: which wodpress does well directly.

    Hi there,

It depends on the SMTP service and it’s up to the application authors to make sure their product is compatible with WooCommerce.

There are some dedicated SMTP providers that we recommend that work for most websites:
