You mentioned it shows 0 orders, when there are orders processing. Where are you able to see the orders? And where exactly says 0 orders?

I see on your report you have HPOS enabled and also compatibility mode enabled, correct?

Can you please go to WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > Features and check if both are actually enabled?

Please also check if it says there are orders pending sync.

When compatibility mode is enable the status widget is fine. Once you uncheck it then the widget is stuck. This is the the issue since the beginning of HPOS

When compatibility mode is disabled, WooCommerce is looking for orders in a different database table. If you have plugins that are not yet HPOS compatible, orders from that new database table could be missing.

With that being said, are you seeing any plugins that are incompatible with HPOS? You can find a list by navigating to WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > Features.

Plugins are not an issue here. We’re all using those plugins which are compatible with HPOS. It is the woocommerce status widget which doesn’t work with HPOS.

However, could you kindly check if you have any pending orders to sync in WooCommerce > Settings > Advance > Feature? If there are any, please click on “sync pending order” and let the sync process complete. Once it’s done, would you mind checking the WooCommerce status widget one more time?

Sorry, to break in, but why should we actually do that? This seems like a bad advice to me …

On a new store running HPOS I don’t see why anyone should synchronise the orders to the post table, that would only slow things down, and what’s the point of using HPOS then. I also strongly assume that the syncing and no HPOS mode will be removed at some point, so better make the widget also compatible with HPOS only.

If syncing to the post table still is required for core Woo, that should be automatically activated with HPOS then, to ensure proper functionality of the system for new stores.

Just my 5 cents. ??

Your feedback is highly appreciated and I understand your concerns regarding the synchronization of orders to the post table.

The sync feature is not necessarily bad, but it depends on your store’s specific needs and setup. It can be helpful in cases where there is a need for data consistency or when using certain plugins that rely on this data.

However, the stats widget should work fine, as the HPOS option improved greatly. If you are having the same issue, then to align with?forum best practices, please create a new topic so that we can address your issue(s) separately.
