Woocommerce Data Import

  • Hi Guys,

    Thanks for developing this fantastic plugin.

    I would like to know if it is possible import the bulk discount setting as part of the WooCommerce Product data import.

    Our company has 100+ different bundled products and it would save a lot of time and minimise manual errors if we could upload the bulk discount setting through the Woocommerce product import product info function.

    Thanks for reaching out! Glad to hear you like our Product Bundles-Bulk Discounts mini extension ??

    It is currently not possible to import/export Bulk Discounts using the core WooCommerce Importer/Exporter.

    However, most improvements we make in our plugins come from feedback like yours — so, thank you for sharing your thoughts with me! I have taken note of your request to discuss it further with the rest of the team. Since we have received only a couple of similar requests in the past, I have the impression that it would be difficult to prioritize this soon.

    In the meantime, you could achieve the desired result programmatically if you’d like. You can use the woocommerce_product_export_meta_value and woocommerce_product_importer_parsed_data hooks to get started.

    Thank you for the clarification. I am not too handy with coding, which is why I really like the plug in your team has developed!

    Could help me with a code that would use “woocommerce_product_export_meta_value” to do the import?

    Apologies for the delayed reply — it took me a bit longer than usual, but I have some good news to share!

    We decided to add support for the WooCommerce Importer/Exporter in Bulk Discounts ?? This functionality will be added in the next version of the plugin (v. 1.3.9).

    To see how this works once the new version is released and you install it on your site, please make sure that you first export your Bundles with this checkbox checked: https://a.cl.ly/12u41qJ9.
