Woocommerce database caching

Woocommerce database caching question. I made the mistake of using woocommerce bulk attributes (woocommercebulkattributes.com) to try to assign an attribute to about 50 products. The plugin wiped out my existing attributes for those products but must also have updated the database as it created some issues with some custom code where by we convert some value from metric to imperial measurements. The end result is that somehow the old value is being cached somewhere in the database and when I reassign the attribute I am now getting double display.

What is now displaying is;

So my first thought is that the plugin modified the database or that the database is caching the old attribute value and then displaying it and the new one.
I have reached out to the plugin developer but have heard nothing back. So my question is will the database clear the cache at some point or does anyone know where I should be looking for product attributes within the database?

Hi @nmballa!
If you have a backup or your host has saved one perhaps it would be a good idea to restore your database to an earlier state before installing and using the third-party plugin.
Now, on your actual install, you may want to try clearing transients in WooCommerce > Status > Tools and see if that helps.
Since the issue here is with a third-party plugin, their support team would be best positioned to give you instructions on how this might be fixed, as they’d be more familiar with how their plugin works than we would be.

Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately we noticed the issue a few days after the issue first arrived. My fault for not having used the sandbox we have to test. So issue with a restore of the database would be all of the orders we have had since. I am manually going through and reassigning the attributes at this point but still have the issue where we are getting the double display.
Also, it seems that caching issue is also displaying the wrong number of items on the store page.

In this situation, I would install a database cleaner and see if it helps clear duplicates and optimize the database. You have some options here:

I recommend that you export your recent orders and ask your host if they can provide you with a backup at a date prior to installing the Bulk Attributes plugin. You can then return to a previous system state and subsequently re-import the orders.

Thanks. Unfortunately the bulk attributes was used going back to prelaunch. It worked just fine but after several woo and wordpress updates when we went to use again we ended up in this situation. I backup the site, export the orders database, and try a cleaner perhaps this evening or tomorrow.
So we found the attribute data and it was still in the correct tables and locations. It looks like what happened is the plugin reformatted the data values. So we simply corrected the formatting and are gtg. Thanks…
