Woocommerce Default Cart Expiry

    Hi!

    I would like to ask what is the default time before the cart expires. I’m setting up my abandoned cart emails and I would like to know if the customers can come back to their cart in 72 hours. I’m using Mailpoet 3 plugin to send cart abandonment emails.

  • Hello,

    WooCommerce doesn’t clear cart automatically by default. So, unless your customers clear their cart or clear browser cache, products that were previously added to cart should still be there.

    Ok. Follow up question, can I set an expiry on the cart. Any Plugin that I can use?

    Please disregard my last reply! It looks like WooCommerce clears customer sessions after 48 hours of inactivity. If you’d like to control cart sessions, you can use Clear Cart and Sessions for WooCommerce.
