    Hi team,

I have a problem when I refund the orders via Paypal Standard.

From Monday this week, when I refund orders on Paypal dashboard, Woocommerce didn’t send any email confirmation, also, the status of orders, they did not change to Refunded automatically on backend.

Last week, everything was normal, when I refund orders on Paypal dashboard, then status changed to Refunded and email confirmation was sent to my email.

Looking forward to hearing from your solution.

    Thanks and best regards,
    Diego

    Hello diepbui4157

Thank you for contacting Woo support.

The problem you have described is related to communication between WooCommerce and Stripe.
Webhooks are responsible for this communication.

Could you go to WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > Stripe > Settings and share a screenshot of the Webhook settings in the Stripe plugin?
    Here is an example:

Looking forward to your reply. ??

    Best regards.

    Hi team,

    Thanks for your reponse.

But I’m not using Stripe Paypal plugin.

I’m using the built-in Paypal Standard payment gateway in woocommerce, as below:

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Thanks and best regards,
    Diego

    Hi @diepbui4157

The issue seems related to the IPN Settings. PayPal standard might not be fully compatible with the most recent PayPal update. This incompatibility could be causing the problem. However, you can troubleshoot this issue by following the guide shared here: https://woocommerce.com/document/paypal-standard/#debugging-ipn-issues

Furthermore, as our documentation states, PayPal Standard has been deprecated. We strongly encourage everyone to use the PayPal Payments extension instead because support for PayPal Standard is limited.

I wish I could help more, but hopefully, this gets you going in the right direction to get the job done.
