WooCommerce Disappeared after Updating to 6.4.0

Same problem here. I downgraded to 6.3 and it’s all fine again.

It seems that some users reported the WooCommerce menu link in WP-Admin is no longer visible or accessible. I’m not experiencing the same problem on my test site with only WooCommerce core 6.4.0 enabled and the default Storefront theme but developers are now looking closer into the issue in Github:

@rainfallnixfig Thanks for the response, however, I’m not sure if the issue you are describing is the same as what I posted. In my case, not only does the WooCommerce menu item disappear, but the plugin disappears completely from the plugins list, despite the plugin files still residing on the server. It also causes my site to crash with a critical error message becoming inaccessible. I can only access via recovery mode, and need to delete the plugin manually on my server and reinstall in order for the installation to work. This has happened the last two times WooCommerce has received an update.

Hello, My woocommerce menu tab disappeared from my wordpress dashboard following a 6.4.0 upgrade if I go to my history and retrieve the link of my woocommerce orders the page will appears, woocommerce still seems to be there but is no longer accessible through the menu tab in wordpress dashboard everything from woocommerce is inaccessible…..What should I do to correct this??

Sure, let’s keep focused on the specific issue you reported here.

If you manage to install and activate WooCommerce before it “disappears” and can access your WordPress dashboard can you share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

Also, check if you can spot errors in the logs. To find the generated logs:

1. Go to WooCommerce > Status > Logs.
2. In the top right corner, open the drop-down and select the latest fatal error log, then click view to load it. Here’s what that looks like:

When looking at it I noticed that your MySQL version doesn’t meet the minimum requirements.

The next inconsistency that I noticed is that your WC database version (5.9.0) doesn’t match the plugin core version (6.4.0). You’d have to perform a database update.

We recommend setting up a staging site and performing updates without modifying your live site or impacting customers. Many hosts provide staging facilities, so it’s worth checking in with them.
