When I create a subaccount the downloads and orders from the manager account do not show for the subaccount. The downloads and orders pages are empty with a Browse Products button only. Is there a setting that I need to adjust? Thank you

    Hi @wesleylindsey

    Thank you for reaching out.

Is the plugin in “Sub-User” or “Multi-User” mode? You can find it out in: Admin Dashboard ? WooCommerce ? Subaccounts ? Options tab.

    In Sub-User mode:

Orders placed by a subaccount (or by a Manager on behalf of a subaccount) are tied to the subaccount itself.

A Manager can view its Orders in: My Account ? Orders and can view the subaccount orders in: My Account ? Subaccounts ? Subaccount Orders.

    In Multi-User mode:

All orders are always tied to the Manager. Even orders placed by subaccounts (once they are in “processing” or “completed” status) are assigned to the Manager (or to the Supervisor, in case the Supervisor Add-On is installed and active).

This because in Multi-User mode a parent account is more intended as a Company Account and therefore all orders (being them placed by a Manager or by subaccounts) are associated to the company (the parent account).

When this mode is enabled, a Manager can view all orders (being them placed directly by itself or by its subaccounts) in: My Account ? Orders.

A subaccount instead can view only the orders placed by itself, always in: My Account ? Orders. However we are planning to provide the possibility to allow a subaccount to view orders that have been placed by the Manager too, but that’s still under development.

With that said, at least for now, we do not recommend enabling Multi-User mode on production sites, as that feature is a beta functionality (which means that it’s still under development).

In your case, if you have Multi-User mode enabled, could you please try switching to Sub-User mode and see if that fixes the reported issue?

    Thanks for the quick reply!

This part is what I am looking for

“However we are planning to provide the possibility to allow a subaccount to view orders that have been placed by the Manager too, but that’s still under development.”

My products are downloads and I would like the subaccounts to be able to access them as well.”

    tha k you
