• Hello guys, I have a problem with my eshop based on Hello Elementor theme. I dont know why, but Woocommerce for some reason create always draft of order if someone not finish the order process. You can see it here: https://prnt.sc/YHrSN2Bhtnmi

It is built in function in Woocommerce ? Becuase I use version 8.8.3 and on second website running same Woocommerce version there is no draft section in Woocommerce/Orders. I tried to disable all modules to check if this funcitonality could be from some plugin but even I disabled almost everything, there was always Draft section in Orders.

Can you help me ? I have sequential order number and this drafts creating mess in numbering orders, because drafts orders are assigned an order number from the codebook (202400001)

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi there @samuelmarcinko,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand you’re experiencing an issue with draft orders being created when a customer doesn’t complete the checkout process.

This is actually a built-in feature of WooCommerce, and it’s designed to help you recover lost sales. When a customer starts the checkout process but doesn’t finish it, WooCommerce automatically creates a draft order. This allows you to follow up with the customer and potentially convert the abandoned cart into a sale.

However, this feature should not interfere with your sequential order numbering. Draft orders should not be assigned a live order number until they are officially processed.

If this is happening, it might be due to a conflict with another plugin or theme. Although you’ve mentioned that you have disabled almost all plugins, the issue persists. In this case, I would recommend you to carry out a full conflict test. You can do this by temporarily switching to a default WordPress theme (like Twenty Twenty-Four) and disabling all other plugins except WooCommerce and the sequential order number plugin.

If the issue resolves, you can then re-enable your plugins one by one to identify the one causing the conflict.

    I hope this helps.
