Woocommerce Duplicate “add_to_cart” & “purchase” Event

First of all, thank you very much for this great plugin. Datalayer makes their installation very easy.

I set up GA4 and Meta e-commerce conversions via GTM on my site. I am using Woocommerce and GTM4WP plugins in WordPress.

Many events run smoothly. But “add_to_cart” and “purchase” count twice. I found the main reason for this. It does the 1st count for the main product and the 2nd count for the variant product. In fact, it is sufficient to count only the “add to cart” and “checkout” activity of the product with the variant.

How can we fix this situation?
