Hello, I am from the Netherlands, I wanna change woocommerce email.

I can change all text, but can’t change the words: order details, billing adress, and the englisch words on the invoice.

Someone knows how it works? Thank you.

  • The Say What? plugin can be useful for changing words.
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/say-what/

Go to Tools > Text changes

    The settings are:
Original text – this must be exactly what you get when the site language is English (United States)
    Domain – usually woocommerce
Context – usually just leave blank
Replacement string – either a translation or your preferred phrase

See if it works for you and come back if you have difficulty changing a specific word.

Some words come from your theme or plugins. If asking about a specific word, please post the address of the page.

Can I send you some email, I can’t put the link here and can’t make a screenshot on this place?

You can post a screenshot for free here:
    https://imgbb.com/

Then post the link on this thread.

    thank you ??

Think you can see it now: order details, billing adress and some other words in englisch and some words in Netherlands now.

    Don’t know why..

You’ll need to post the link to your screenshot. This is an example link:

Hi @lorro regarding your report “Some bug in the page. I cannot post a reply.”

Are you running into this bug? https://meta.trac.www.ads-software.com/ticket/6833

If so, try linking text instead of pasting the whole URL.

@macmanx Sorry, I had disabled Javascript in my browser to troubleshoot something else. I have enabled Javascript and the page is working fine now.

Maybe some better question Lorro: I think I need to change the langauge from my theme flatsome to netherlands, now it is mostly in englisch.

    I found your link here:
    https://ibb.co/LgDPr5V

It doesn’t look like a WooCommerce invoice, and when I changed my site language to Nederlands, using Storefront, the invoice was properly translated.

Forum members don’t have access to commercial themes, including flatsome.

So please have a look and see if your theme has a template override for the invoice email. If so, it will be at:
    wp-content/themes/flatsome/woocommerce/emails/customer-invoice.php

If so, you can ask your theme support for an effective Nederlands translation. Or you can try the method in my first post of this thread, using the Say What? plugin.

The Domain is probably flatsome, but you can check it in the header of:
    wp-content/themes/flatsome/style.css

Thank you for helping Lorro, I have msg my theme flatsome now. We will see what they say, I hope so they can change it in the Netherlands.

    Thanks, @erwincaspers

Please let us know how it goes!
