• Hi folks.
    2 weeks ago, the email which PayPal orders were sent to decided to stop sending through via WooCommerce to my order email ([email protected]). We still get the backup notification sent directly from PayPal to [email protected], but the fulfillment person who monitors [email protected] does not receive any notification.
    We DO receive emails sent to [email protected],, but not ones that are generated via PayPal/Woocommerce.
    I checked the settings and all seems to be in working order. Can anyone advise me on what might be the problem/solution?

  • WordPress uses the standard PHP mail() function, which uses sendmail.Therefore no email-account information is needed. This is not generally a problem if your hoster allows it. I suspect your hoster will have made a change in this regard. Whether intentionally or unintentionally, one can not judge. Please contact your hoster for clarification.

    Alternatively, you can also try to send all outgoing emails from WordPress via SMTP access. A suitable plugin for this would be: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/
