I now have this error message where we have used the Kadence theme files in out child theme folder

Your theme (Storefront Child) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. Suggestions to fix this:

    1. Update your theme to the latest version. If no update is available contact your theme author asking about compatibility with the current WooCommerce version.
    2. If you copied over a template file to change something, then you will need to copy the new version of the template and apply your changes again.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there, Philip!

The notice is pointing out to your child theme’s template files. This is not something our plugin will affect.

Could you confirm if you or your developer added a WooCommerce template override in the theme? If that’s the case, reach out to them so the correct updates can be applied.

Let me know if you have any other concerns.

Yes there are two email php files were copied from the Kadence files.

There were a few things that we needed to add that were not available via the customizer

    Hi Philip,

Those two files you refer to would still work even if an outdated warning is shown to you. This can be ignored as this is just about changing a version number in the template files.

If you want to and if you are comfortable with it, you can update it. You can see here a detailed guide from WooCommerce on how to do it: https://developer.woocommerce.com/docs/how-to-fix-outdated-woocommerce-templates/

Let us know how we could help you further.
