All of a sudden, woocommerce is spitting out this error: This plugin failed to load properly and is paused during recovery mode.

I’ve tried to update EVERYTHING, but the error remains. I have even deleted woocommerce and reinstalled a fresh version to no avail? Can someone give me an assist please?

Thank you for the response! Unfortunately, I cannot access the Woocommerce Status report as Woocommerce won’t load? I keep getting the same error – even after disabling all plugins and changinr to the Storefront theme? any other suggestions?

    Hello dannyferretti,

    Thank you for your reply.

It looks like the WooCommerce plugin is broken due to missing or corrupt files.

I have even deleted woocommerce and reinstalled a fresh version

May I ask which method you used to delete and reinstall the plugin?
Did you do it from the WP Admin or via FTP?
If you reinstalled WooCommerce via WP Admin, could you try again via FTP?

To troubleshoot further, I recommend you enable Error Log in the WordPress’ wp-config.php file.
Here is a blog article that will guide you through the steps.

After enabling the Error Log, access WooCommerce on your site to generate an error log.
Then share those logs with me here.

Looking forward to your response. ??

    Best regards.

Actually, the problem has been resolved. The issue was caused by an old object-cache file that was created a while ago. It seems there were some configurations that weren’t compatible with the latest versions of WooCommerce, WordPress core, and other plugins.

    Thank you for your help!
