    Hello,
I’m building a WordPress website using Woocommerce, and it used to work normally but when I came back to it the website was down. I managed to log in using the wordpress recovery system and turned off all my plugins. And after a few tries the plugin messing things up is WooCommerce, causing a fatal error.
It doesn’t come from a conflict with another plugin because I’ve tried activating Woocommerce with all other plugins disabled and it still won’t activate because of a fatal error.

Here is the error message I’m getting :

L’extension n’a pas pu être activée, car elle a déclenché une erreur fatale.

Warning: require(/home/qyod1745/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/src/Autoloader.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/qyod1745/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/woocommerce.php on line 24

Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required '/home/qyod1745/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/src/Autoloader.php' (include_path='.:/opt/cpanel/ea-php74/root/usr/share/pear') in /home/qyod1745/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/woocommerce.php on line 24

Auto update was turned on so I’m guessing the issue comes from a recent update.

Can anyone help me with this, please ?
    Thanks

    Hi there,

    Thanks for reaching out.

Can you please try to delete the WooCommerce plugin, and try to install it again?

Please give it a try and let me know how it goes!

    Hey,

    Thank for replying so quickly.
I deleted WooCommerce and installed it again and it’s working fine, no fatal error this time, thank you ! Were all my settings and options kept when I deleted it or do I need to start again form the beginning ?

    Hey @arnaudriviere

I am glad the issue was resolved. Deleting the WooCommerce plugin only removes the plugin’s files. Your settings and options or any other data such as products will remain in the database, thus they should be available after the fresh installation.

    Hope this helps!
