    Hello there,

I need to create an ecommerce website for an health/ beauty studio. I want to sell products (virtual) like treatments and courses. Courses will be reschedulable during the year (for example: eye make-up course is available from 13-15 january, 20-22 april, 12-14 july and so on…).

Is a classic woocommerce website or do you suggest me any other add-on/plugin to achieve the best result?

    Thanks

    M

  • Hey there, @kissenefrega! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.

For selling physical regular products, WooCommerce has, by default, a lot of features, and it might be enough for this. Depending on your goals and needs, you might need other plugins/add-ons, which we will be happy to talk about if you want to share more details about your store.

For scheduling courses, I suggest using WooCommerce Bookings, and maybe also WooCommerce Bookings Availability depending on your website’s needs.

With them you can create bookable products such as courses and select the dates and available spots.

If you are also interested in online courses, I suggest taking a look at Sensei Pro.

I hope this was clarifying. Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help or if you have any questions.

    Have a wonderful day!

Hi there and thank you very much for your answer!

I’m not sure about the plugin you suggested me.

In fact, in my case the courses are scheduled by me and clients can’t choose to book them by a calendar. They have to buy them based on their preferences regarding the schedule setted by me and then they will attend them directly at school (not online).

So do you think WooCommerce only is enough to do that?

    Thanks

    Hi @kissenefrega

Based on your additional details, it sounds like you might not need the WooCommerce Bookings plugin since your customers won’t be choosing their own dates. Instead, you could create individual products for each course schedule. For example, you could have a product named “Eye Makeup Course – January 13-15”, “Eye Makeup Course – April 20-22”, etc. This way, customers can purchase the course that fits their schedule.

However, if you’d like to provide more flexibility and allow customers to reschedule their booked courses, then WooCommerce Bookings could still be beneficial. It allows you to manage all the bookings in one place and it’s easier for your customers to see all available dates and choose the one that suits them best.

Also, if you plan to sell virtual products like treatments, the standard WooCommerce plugin should be sufficient.

Please let me know if you have any other questions or if there’s anything else I can assist you with.

    Thanks!
