WooCommerce Help Needed

  • Hi, I’m running WooCommerce (2.3.13) with the WooPress theme and have a few questions… any help would be greatly appreciated!

    1. Flat Rate shipping option – I want to set up a flat shipping rate of $4 per product – however, even after selecting the “Per Item” option, it still charges only a flat fee per ORDER, regardless of how many items are put in the cart.     2. Free Shipping option – this website sells wine, so I would like to set up the option where if someone buys 12 bottles from a winery, they get free shipping – is this a possibility? (ideally the option would be presented to the consumer on the individual product’s page before checkout)

    3. Shipping restrictions – not all wines will ship to every state, so I’d like to limit shipping per product based on the state that the purchaser is in (if the product doesn’t ship to VA, for example, then you can’t buy it if you have a VA shipping address at checkout)

    – Please contact the developer directly for support with your question. You’ll be more likely to find a good answer from them, for they have the access to its code. Forum volunteers are not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme or plugin is not working properly.     Hi Tara, would this question be better asked in the Plugins section of the forum? These aren’t really questions related to the theme, they’re more WooCommerce questions.

    I did contact the theme developer, who directed me to WooCommerce, but I can’t get support from them either because I purchased my theme through another vendor and not directly from them… so I’m not sure what my options are.
