Woocommerce Home Page is blank

    My Woocommerce home page is blank. I have researched this issue and have carried out the following steps:

    Activated the Storefront theme.
    Deactivated all plug-ins
    Ran ‘Create default WooCommerce pages’
    Tried alternative browsers

    I’ve run out of ‘potential fixes’ so I wondered if there is anyone out there who has managed to solve this problem before I have to ditch WooCommerce and find an alternative.

    Hi maykato, thanks for responding. Sorry, I obviously didin’t make myself clear. It’s the Woocommerce admin home page that is blank.

    I believe you are referring to the WordPress dashboard.

    As I am unable to reproduce the issue on my test site, can you please check if you are getting any JavaScript errors on the Dashboard page? You can press F12 on Windows or Command + Options + I on Mac to open the browser console and check. Here is an example of what we’re looking for: https://snipboard.io/9qd4nX.jpg

    Is it possible to check WooCommerce > Status > Logs for a file that starts with fatal-errors, in case there are some problems on the server level?

    Hi Maykato, I tried that and it made no difference, in fact I don’t see any controls or menu for the woocommerce admin plug in!

    Hi. I’ve also experienced this problem many times. It always happens after updating WooCommerce and I have tried the WooCommerce Admin plugin without any success.

    I don’t know what happens, but 4 or 5 days later the admin dashboard starts working again. Go figure…

    It’s not browser speciffic because when it happens, it happens to multiple admins, not just to me in one browser.

    All I can imagine is that there is some form of caching in the hosting that is keeping an old script running instead of launching a new one. I don’t have any caching in my site, but I know my hosting supports it at server level because I have dedicated WordPress hosting from a very big hosting company with all kinds of fancy optimizations to boost its performance.

    It’s terrible advice and hardly a proper solution, but just give it a few days and see if it bounces back.

    If you do come across a solution, please post it here. This glitch happens to me so often that my toes curl every time I see a WooCommerce update pending.

    Thanks for getting back to us. Waiting several days for this to start working again is definitely inconvenient.

    Have you tried speaking with the web host about this? Do they have a way you can clear out the server cache and/or any database caching manually from their dashboard? If they do, you could try clearing that and see if you can access it then. Should that work, it’ll help pinpoint the source of the trouble.

    Let us know what you find out.

    We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m marking this thread as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
