So I’m trying to get a payment gateway setup for e-commerce and I’m almost there but I’m getting this error:

Hypur is enabled and WooCommerce is not forcing the SSL certificate on your checkout page. Please ensure that you have a valid SSL certificate and that you are forcing the checkout pages to be secured.

I have an SSL installed on my website, so what exactly is the issue and what do I need to do to clear it?

    Thank you!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • @johnnyscience I think there is any plugin which is confliting with the woocommerce
to check this Can you please disable all the plugin except WooCommerce and switch to the default theme of the WordPress like a storefront and then check again and again and try to activate the plugin one by one then I think you will be able to find the confliting plugin.

    Hey @johnnyscience,

Looking at the site, it is being served over HTTP instead of HTTPS. Do you have an SSL certificate installed on the site? If you don’t, your web host should be able to help you get that installed.

If you do, then you’ll need to update the site URL so that it uses HTTPS. To do that go to Settings > General in your WordPress dashboard. At the top of this screen are the fields where you’ll need to change this.

Make sure the SSL certificate is installed before making these changes. Otherwise, you’ll get an error.

    Cheers

    Hmm.

Yes I do have an SSL installed on the site.

And yes I have both the the site URL & WordPress Address URL set to HTTPS:

    https://www.ohiocannabis.com

I’m not sure why you aren’t seeing it when you looked at the site?

@johnnyscience Please make sure that your website address is correct in the settings-> General

    Hey @johnnyscience,

There’s an old setting in WooCommerce that would force a site that doesn’t normally use SSL to use it on checkout. Essentially you could have a site serve everything but the checkout page over HTTP and then have checkout over HTTPS.

That option has been removed, but it may be that this payment gateway is referring to that setting. I would suggest checking in with the gateway developer about that. It may be that they need to update their extension so that it accounts for this change.

I do see the site loading over HTTPS. I’m not sure why it was loading for me the other day over HTTP, but all looks well now.

Let me know if I can help out.

    Cheers

    @mohitmishra

Yes I have them both set to HTTPS:

@3sonsdevelopment I will forward that info to Hypur and see if they can pin point it.

Will this affect checkout and transactions in the mean time?

    Hey @johnnyscience,

That’s a great question. The best way to know for certain would be to place a test order. You could create a $1 test product and give checkout a try. That way you would know one way or the other.

Well Hypur & I have been running test transactions, but we’ve been running into a problem when hitting the final checkout button. I posted a thread about it here:

    https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/clicking-final-pay-button-redirects-me-to-site-login-instead-of-finalizing/

upon clicking the final pay with Hypur button the redirect is taking me back to our site to log in again, i'm thinking the final pay with Hypur button might have the wrong redirect URL attached as normally I would be brought to a Success or Confirmation page after this button, but it has myself in an endless loop of logging in currently.

What do I not have set properly so this endless login loop stops and the order can be finalized/confirmed?

    Thanks!

    Hey @johnnyscience,

I went on and replied at that thread for the redirect issue for you.

    Cheers
