I add item to the cart. Go to cart. I see the item there. I click cross on the item. Item is not removed. Conflict is with Elementor plugin. Here’s the video for better understanding https://app.screencast.com/Im8hva7DK73NV

I deactivated all the plugins except WooCommerce. Item is getting removed perfectly from the cart page. Then I started to activate the plugins one by one to see which plugin is causing the issue. Turns out Elementor is causing the issue. I have only two active plugins ‘Elementor’ and ‘WooCommerce’ and I’m not able to remove the item from cart page by clicking cross on the item. When I deactivate Elementor plugin, the item from cart page gets removed perfectly.

All the plugins are up to date. WordPress is up to date. I’m using Astra theme. It’s up to date. I also changed the theme to Twenty Twenty-Four theme. This issue exists.

Please guide me what to do OR is this issue being worked on by Elementor team?

    Hi there,

    Thank you for contacting us.

It sounds like a conflict between Elementor and WooCommerce is preventing the cart items from being removed when the Elementor plugin is active. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

    1. Clear Cache: If you are using any caching plugins, clear the cache. Also, clear your browser cache to ensure you’re not seeing a cached version of the cart page.
    2. Switch to Safe Mode: Elementor’s Safe Mode allows you to troubleshoot by deactivating potentially conflicting plugins and themes. This can help determine if the issue is caused by Elementor settings or a deeper conflict. You can enable Safe Mode from Elementor > Tools > Safe Mode.
    3. Check for JavaScript Errors: Open the browser’s developer tools (usually F12) and check the console tab for any JavaScript errors when trying to remove the item from the cart. These errors can give clues about what’s causing the conflict.
    4. Update Theme and Plugins: Although you mentioned that everything is up to date, double-check if there are any minor or beta updates for Elementor or WooCommerce that might address this issue.
    5. Use Compatibility Mode: Sometimes, conflicts arise due to specific settings in Elementor. Try enabling Compatibility Mode in Elementor (Elementor > Settings > Advanced > Switch Editor Loader Method).
    6. Inspect Custom Code: If you’ve added any custom code snippets or customizations in the theme or through the functions.php file, consider temporarily removing them to see if they could be causing the conflict.

I hope this helps you to resolve the issue.

    Kind regards,
