    Hi,

I report an incompatibility with woocommerce v. 4.6.2, wordpress 5.5.3 in Italian.
and ithemes security v. 6.8.1, recaptcha module.
I enabled the recaptcha (v3), required for new user registration, but it seems that this does not allow new customers, not registered, using a smartphone, to complete an order by paying with paypal (paypal-checkout-gateway module v. 2.1.0)
because it always returns “you must submit a recaptcha…” and I see in ithemes logs that this produces a row and the failure is for the failed recaptcha attempt on register action.

At the moment I had to turn off recaptcha on registration, but it doesn’t seem like a good thing.

Update: it seems that is an issue strictly related to recaptcha v3, invisible recaptcha does not seems to have problems.

Can you investigate? I have alerted the ithemes developers team too.

    Thanks,
    Simone.

    Hi Simone,

Seeing as the WooCommerce plugin itself doesn’t have any native code for recaptcha (whether from iThemes or any other plugin for that matter), it would be up to the developers of those plugins to check compatibility. In the case of iThemes Security, it’s also important to note that we don’t have any direct access to their products so our hands are somewhat tied in troubleshooting that further.

In the event that any coding changes are required on the core WooCommerce plugin, they’re welcome to submit code changes to the WooCommerce Github code repository at https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce
