WooCommerce – Making empty product pages

Hi there,

I’m putting together a commerce site using the WooCommerce page, but I wasn’t the one who initially set it up, so I’m still getting used to its features and trying to figure out what was, or wasn’t set up before I took over (like the SSL, apparently). The person who set it up installed the Flashlight theme, so maybe it’s a problem with the theme and not woocommerce, but empty product pages are acting really funky.

What I’d really like to do is make it so that a product page that contains no products would display an error page that says “There are no products to display”, but instead the content area is empty and the sidebar spans over. I’m using categories to organize the products, and without anything to display, all I get is chaos.

Does anyone have any idea how I can solve this?
