I use ux block to dynamically generate product short description. For example to display product’s net weight from its attribute with code, Net Weight: [display_attribute attribute=”net-weight”]

when I click a product from one order, it is not displayed correctly. it only shows text Net Weight:

if I modify its stock and then save. it does not keep short description as [block id=”shortdescription”]. instead Product short description goes to static text “Net Weight:”

    Hi @daining1298,

    Thank you for reaching out.

I understand you are experiencing an issue with the dynamic generation of your product’s short description using UX Block.

Firstly, I would suggest double-checking that the attribute “net-weight” is correctly assigned to your products and that the values for this attribute are correctly entered.

If that’s all correctly set up, then the problem might be with the UX Block in your theme. It’s possible that there might be a compatibility issue with your current version of WooCommerce.

As for the short description not saving correctly, this could be due to a conflict with another plugin or theme. Try disabling other plugins one by one to see if the issue resolves. If this doesn’t help, try switching to a default theme like Storefront or Twenty Twenty-Four to see if the issue persists.

In the meantime, I recommend contacting the UX Block’s support for further assistance, as it’s possible the issue might be related to the theme in use.

I hope this helps. Let us know if you need further assistance.

It has nothing todo with other plugin/theme, or attribute is not set

this is the screen shot, when view/edit a product in Proucts tab, short description is [block id=”shortdescription], it has not problem to edit and save.

But if I select a product from Orders tab, then it try’s to run/execute the UX block, unfortunedly it does not display attributes correctly. And after edit, it saved the wrong result. I think it should still have the original short description text as [block id=”shortdescription”], instead of the running result.

It is a bug for the mobile Woo app, not sure is this the correct place to report this error.
