• I got just under 10k products. One half has one price and the other has different price. Is it possible to create only 2 products and just change it’s content depending on the item selected from custom drop down? This is a rough idea.

  • A drop down with 5k products? I don’t think that’s a good idea. If you use variations, woo will create a product for each anyway and I’m pretty sure your host’s php will time out before it completes that many. If the products aren’t loaded yet, I’d import them individually from a spreadsheet.

The drop down would be broken down to 3 stages. Having about 17 choices each. Loading from a spreadsheet is not a problem. I’m looking for easier ways to filter, list categories and manage products content. Filtering is problem #1 if importing all the products.

There are no plugins to filter by categories, nested categories and their subcategories.

I don’t think Woo doesn’t offer multiple levels of variation so how would you create the “3 stages”?
