    Hello,
I am about to install WooCommerce. I have a WordPress website/blog installed using the WordPress multisite setup. Can anyone tell me what the best practices are for using WooCommerce:

Should I install it as a separate site in the multisite installation or use my existing site? In the WooCommerce gallery I saw examples of separate sites.
If the answer is to install it as a separate site, why is this best?
If I install it as a separate site, what will the repercussions and consequences be?

Please forgive me if I have missed this answer in the topics. I have search there and done a web search and haven’t found the answer I am trying to get to.

    Thank you!
    Michelle

    Hello,
You can install it on a multisite but activate it on every single site, not on the network. This will avoid conflicts with the different sites.

@nicolamustone Thank you for your answer! Is the best practice to use it in one site altogether with your blog and pages or to have it as a separate site?
