Woocommerce no longer auto sending Customer Invoice

Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that you want the Customer invoice / Order details email to be sent automatically.

I checked this setting on my test site and verified that it is ticked as Manually Sent since it is only available as a manual order action inside the order details screen.

Customers should receive New order emails automatically, which contain the details of the order, including the amount.

For an automatic invoice email option, take a look at the WooCommerce Print Invoices & Packing lists extension.

@xue28 thanks for the reply and info! So it looks like I am not receiving a New Order email, at least when I purchased a test product. It was a product marked as virtual and downloadable, should that make a difference? Is there any other place the New Order email could have been disabled. Currently it emails the store owner by default. Is there a way to include the customer email as well? Something like #{customer_email}

Can you please check if the order processing template is enabled and if the emails are not landing in your spam/junk folder?

Also, please share a copy of your site’s System Status Report. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

Can you please verify for us, if you checked whether the order processing template is enabled and if the emails are not landing in your spam/junk folder?

Furthermore, could you try and temporarily disable the following plugin and see if that makes a difference:
– CB Change Mail Sender: by Md Abul Bashar – 1.2.2

@anastas10s Thanks for the info. I did verify that the order processing template is enabled and the emails are not going to my spam/junk folder. Additionally, i disabled the plugin and did not receive an order receipt email.

I’m placing the order while logged into the site with my WP account. Could that make a difference?

I installed the email logging plugin and emails are indeed being sent when I manually trigger the Order Processing/Confirmed emails

That’s odd, can you please update WordPress to its latest version? Be sure to backup first, for reference, you can find more information in this tutorial.
