• Hi there

I have a problem where all my plugin updates are working EXCEPT for the WooCommerce. Updating from v4.6.1 to 4.9.2, on WordPress 5.6.

I have removed all my other plugins, ran the update and it still does not work so.

I can confirm that my Folder Permissions are set to 755 and my file permissions are set to 644.

WP Security shows all is fine.

  • have a look under woo>status>tools maybe some cached orphans causing issue or you can reset woocommerce but use caution with this tools, thanks

Thanks for the above. Already done that and still did’nt work. I get the same error: “Update failed: The update cannot be installed because we will be unable to copy some files. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions.

Ran this while WooCommerce was the only plugin active. Deleted the orphaned.

Hi @royaltyonline. Have you been able to resolve this issue? If not, you can try deleting the WooCommerce plugin folder via FTP and then reinstall.
