woocommerce only shows sales prices

    hey all!

    i am struggling with the following issue: if i publish a new product, it is only displayed with the discounted price in the shop. without me setting a discount date or similar. i cannot change it back to showing the original price and have no idea why.

    any ideas? thanks!

  • If you don’t enter a date, it will always be discounted to the sale price.

    that is pretty counterintuitive i think… shouldnt it only be on discount if i at least set a beginning date?

    but ok, then i will just not set a sale price.

    If you set a sale price without setting a start and end date for the sale, then it means you want the product to perpetually be on sale.

    Removing the sale price or setting a start and end date for the dale fixes that.
